Photography in Georgia

Nestled in the Caucasus Mountains between Asia and Europe. One of wildest, beautiful and most undiscovered countries left in World.

Introduction

This spectacular corner of the world is the perfect place to practice your photo skills- somehwere far from the world's major tourist destinations where you're sure to capture original and stunning images.

Travelling from the capital to the country's rugged eastern corner and back, this trip will take us down the ancient narrow streets of Tbilisi, up winding mountain passes with breathtaking scenery, and into remote hillside villages where life has remained almost unchanged for centuries. And our route just so happens to take us through Georgia's main wine producing region, where we'll have plenty of chance to sample the local produce.

As with all Frui trips, you'll be sharing the experience with a group of like-minded photography lovers and a professional tutor who'll help inspire and develop your photography.

What Makes This Trip Special?

It's designed to make you feel you're truly in the middle of nowhere. Many of the places we'll visit are only accessible by 4x4 and it's on the way to these places, on the dramatic mountain roads, that we'll have some of the best photo opportunities. We'll also try to get under the skin of the region, meeting local people who'll give us an insight into life in the beautiful but harsh landscape.

Why Photograph Here?

If you want to explore off the beaten track places that are a spectacularly beautiful, look no further than Georgia. From cave cities to ancient cathedrals all set against the incredible canvas of Caucasus Mountains. Georgia features a mixture of epic landscapes and locals as characterful as the eclectic architecture around them. There's no shortage of stories waiting to be captured.
