Ross & Wye Valley Weekender... Wye not?

Friday 21 September to Sunday 23 2022

What could be better than a wonderful weekender in the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Beauty which is an internationally important protected landscape straddling the border between England and Wales. It is one of the most dramatic and scenic landscapes in Britain and especially stunning at this time of the year as the leaves turn orange and red waiting to be captured in the beautiful autumnal light.

Ross-on-Wye may be known for its literary connections but it's also just one of many picturesque towns you will see nestled amongst the spectacular scenery. There are the stunning views from Symond's Yat Rock, where the nearby cliffs are the nesting place of Peregrine Falcons that soar above the valley of the River Wye 120m below. There are countless photo opportunities in the magical Forest of Dean, with it's ancient trees and moss-covered boulders. And there's the Wye itself, meandering photogenically through it all.

Itinerary includes:

  • Ross-on-Wye
  • Goodrich Castle
  • Symonds Yat
  • Forest of Dean
  • Amazing scenery everywhere and cozy pub photo feedback sessions.
